In honor of the late Liberty University Founder/Chancellor & Pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church Dr. Jerry Falwell, I went to Falwell's memorial located on the Carter Glass Mansion grounds to photograph the popular memorial overlooking the Worthington Baseball Stadium. This memorial is a dedication to Jerry Flaming passion & vision for training Champions for Christ to go out into the world so that others might know the good news. The memorial has an eternal flame that burns atop a Cross in the middle of a reflection pool, Benches with LU,Thomas Road & LCA stamped logo faces the west side of the cross, and with Jerry grave pointing East towards the back of the mansion and West towards the Blue Ridge mountains. This special and beautiful site is opened 365 Days to the public who wants to visit and pay their respect to a great Christian giant who passed away three years ago at the age of 73. Also you can view the memorial via a web cam while staying nice and dry.
